Answer Skrill enters the crypto world by adding new features
Skrill, a UK-based online payment service, recently announced the expansion of its support for cryptocurrencies and the addition of new features.
The company “Skrill” has made it possible to buy and sell services through cryptocurrencies, and Skrill users will be able to use Bitcoin for purchases of other cryptocurrencies.
This will make transactions on the platform faster and at a lower cost.
For the record, Skrill has provided several services related to cryptocurrency since last year.
But before adding the new features, Skrill users had to use their cash balance to buy the supported cryptocurrencies (9 currencies, including: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin…), but they could only exchange cryptocurrencies with each other after selling them in the form of A cash currency and then the purchase renewed the currency to be converted to.

The company told that more pairs will be added soon.
By allowing crypto-to-crypto transfers, Skrill users can enjoy lower fees resulting from fewer transactions.
Customers can fund their accounts among 40 different currencies through credit cards or bank transfer.
Other features of the platform include automatic dialing.
It should be noted that the Skrill payment service was previously known as Moneybookers, and Skrill was founded in 2001 as a competitor to other online payment companies such as PayPal.
According to Crunchbase, the company has managed to attract more than 20 million users and more than 100,000 business customers.
“Skrill” is currently owned by “Paysafe”, which also operates the “NETELLER” service, which is active in the same field (electronic payment).
Thus, “Paysafe” intends to offer the service of buying and selling cryptocurrencies from “Skrill” to “NETELLER” users in the coming months.

Perhaps one of the biggest clues about this is the entry and then departure of PayPal.
Arguably the closest competitor to Skrill is the latter service “Revolut,” which also launched its own version of the cryptocurrency buying and selling service in 2017.
