Answer Did Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto meet with the SEC five years ago?
The above question may seem provocative and a bit strange given that “Satoshi Nakamoto” the founder of Bitcoin is anonymous and preferred to remain so, but there are some hadiths arguing that someone already knows the identity of “Nakamoto”.
in Tweet Recently, Eleanor Terrett, a journalist at Fox Business Channel, pointed out that the US Securities Authority and the famous venture capitalist Tim Draper know the true identity of Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto.
Terrett published this controversial assumption after obtaining a copy of the public calendar of former SEC director Bill Hinman.
It includes a meeting with “Satoshi” and “Draper” organized by “Valerie Shchepanek”, an official with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

It should be noted that the meeting, which took place on August 23, 2017, was not a secret.
On August 26, 2017, Draper complained of being targeted by a masked Satoshi con man who wasted a lot of his time.
Shortly thereafter, The Verge reported some details about the meeting.
Apparently Draper and fake Satoshi were discussing a new Initial Coin Offering (ICO).
The scammer focused on convincing potential investors that he actually created the original cryptocurrency Bitcoin.
The fraudster told The Verge that a SEC commissioner tried to speak to him in Japanese.
At the time, the agency declined to comment on the report, but a recently published timeline appears to confirm that discussions with the fake “Satoshi Nakamoto” did indeed take place.
However, it remains unclear whether SEC officials realized they were talking to a scammer.
The emails reviewed by The Verge did not show that the organizers were taking the matter seriously.
For the record, there are many scammers claiming to be “Satoshi Nakamoto”, but the true identity of the founder of Bitcoin is still unknown despite the rumors being spread here and there.
